| If you need a wireless intercom that uses
battery power, the WireFree system may be your best choice since it is
long-life, battery powered. Most of these intercoms use four AA
batteries that can last a year. However, if you need extra long range,
the MURS wireless system can be partially or wholly battery powered. The
MURS Multi-Mile and MURS 110 handheld units have rechargeable batteries.
If you only need battery power on one side, you can pair them with an
AC-powered MURS base stations. If both sides need to be battery powered,
then use two MURS handhelds.
The MURS Wireless Callboxes can also be battery or solar powered.
They are powered by six D batteries and can be paired with the battery
powered MURS handhelds. |
