MURS stands for Multi-Use-Radio System and is a set of communication
frequencies assigned by the FCC for business or personal use. MURS is
not currently used very heavily so you won't find a lot of communication
on the channels in most areas. There are five MURS channels, plus there
are 38 quiet codes that enable you to only hear conversations that are
on the channel and code your radios are set for.
All the radios and intercoms on this page are compatible with each
other. You can mix and match them in any combination or quantity.
